SOLD $470

GEORGE III, bronzed proof penny 1806, plain edge, obverse draped laureate bust right, reverse Britannia seated left, (S.3780, P.1350 [this coin]). FDC and rare.

Reportedly the coin from Peck’s own collection. The small die flaw to the right of the king’s portrait matches that of the plate coin in his book (Pl 28 R97).
