GERMANY, saw back butcher bayonet converted to a trench fighting knife, with steel blade marked in ricasso, 'Waffenfabrik/Mauser A.G./Oberndorf a.N', with metal scabbard with frog, the scabbard with same marking as blade, with grooved timber and steel handle fitted with a hand guard; another unidentified bayonet; two British Army issued Jack knifes, both with knife and tin/bottle opener, both with Defence broadarrow above 1941. The scabbard on the first item with some dents making it hard to draw out the bayonet and the blade and guard with a few marks, otherwise very good; the second item heavily oxidised with damaged timber handle and poor, the pen knifes poor. (4)
