MC GROUP OF FIVE: Military Cross (GRI); 1914 Star, - clasp - 5th Aug.-22nd Nov.1914; British War Medal 1914-18; Victory Medal 1914-19 with MID; Jubilee Medal 1935. First and last medals unnamed, 29649 M.C.Cpl F.W.Lewis. R.E. on second medal, Lieut. F.W.Lewis. on third and fourth medals. All named medals impressed. Swing mounted, contact marks on third medal, otherwise very fine.

Temp Lt F.W.Lewis MC, relinquished his commission on account of ill-health contracted on active service, 21 June 1919 and granted rank of Capt. (LG 20/6/1919, p7893).
