PUPIENUS, (238 A.D.), silver antoninianus, Rome Mint, (5.06 g), obv. radiate bust to right of Pupienus draped and cuirassed seen from behind, around IMP CAES M CLOD PVPIENVS AVG, rev. AMOR MVTVVS AVGG around, two clasped hands, (S.8517, RIC 9a, BMC 77-79, C.1). Lightly toned, extremely fine and very rare.
