CONSTANTIUS I, (A.D. 293-306), silver argenteus, Treveri mint, issued A.D. c.298-9, (3.22 g), obv. laureate head of Constantius I to right, around CONSTA NTIVS NC, rev. around VIRTVS MILITVM, club in exergue, the tetrarchs sacrificing over tripod before gate of six turret enclosure, (cf.S.13955, RIC 117a, RSC.309c). Lightly toned, numerous scratches, nearly fine - fine and scarce.
