INDIA, Sultanates, Sultans of Delhi, Muhammad bin Tughluq, (A.H. 725-752, A.D. 1325-1351), billon with silvering and some hoard patina six gani issues mostly dated, noted 727, 732, 733, 734, 735, etc, (cf.G&G D379) (18); a silver tanka of Balban (A.H.664-686, A.D. 1266-1287), Delhi mint (G&G D157), another of Sher Shah, rupee year 947 (G&G D809); and some Mogul coins some described, all as silver rupees Akbar square (3), no mint name year 32, 34 (2), (KM.91.1), Aurangzib (A.H. 1068-1118, A.D. 1658-1707), silver rupees Surat 1095/28, (KM.294.6); Shajhanabad mint 1107/39 (KM.300.81); Itawa mint 1111/43 (KM.300.39); 69Hround copper paisas and fractions, some duplication etc, lot includes a silver rupee of Cooch Behaer, under Nara Narayan (SE 1477-1509, A.D. 1555-1587), SE 1477 (1555), (KM.36) (illustrated). Most Tughluq issues with green oxidation and hoard patination, but mostly very good - nearly very fine. (28)
