AUSTRALIA, small brass shell casing made into a small lamp, maybe, the base with stamps indicating that it is a type No.5.1 by V.S.M. (Vickers, Son & Maxim), one side is fitted with the reverse of an Australian 1917 halfpenny; matchbox holder in brass and affixed at the top is a small Rising Sun badge (KC) in bronze, and on the other side is affixed a Netherlands Indies half gulden dated 1941; India, silvered ashtray, the base on the inside with the badge and the name Indian Air Force in English and Hindi. The second item with oxidation, otherwise fine - very fine. (3)
